PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Awami National Party (ANP) has demanded a judicial inquiry into alleged electoral malpractices.

In a statement on Friday, ANP leader Aimal Wali Khan stated that the chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) should establish a judicial commission, exercising his powers. He clarified that he wasn't upset over losing elections.

Aimal highlighted an ongoing struggle for resources and authority within Pakistan, stressing that his party had been advocating for people's rights for nearly a century.

He expressed the desire to secure people's rights through parliamentary means, asserting that his party leaders were not driven by personal interests or greed in seeking parliamentary representation.

Aimal affirmed his readiness to endure difficulties and challenges for the nation's sake.

The ANP leader added that if anyone sought his arrest, they could contact him by telephone, and he would willingly present himself. He said he was not afraid of getting arrested but strongly objected to raids on his residence in the dark of the night.
