PML-N parliamentary committee poses confidence in Maryam for Punjab CM slot
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s parliamentary party expressed full confidence in the decision of the party leadership to elect Maryam Nawaz as Punjab Chief Minister.
The development occurred in the parliamentary party’s meeting which was presided by the party’s chief organizer in which the elected members of the Punjab Assembly participated.
The parliamentary party of PML-N expressed their trust in the decision of the leadership to nominate Maryam Nawaz as Punjab CM and their determination to solve the problems of the people of Punjab under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz.
Speaking during the meeting, she said she was grateful to the people of Pakistan, especially Punjab, who gave the mandate to the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and made the party successful in the election as the largest party.
On the occasion, she expressed the hope and will to carry out the promises made by the party during the election campaign while adding her nomination as the first woman chief minister of Punjab was also a moment of honour for the women of the country.
She said that under the leadership of the party leader and president, she would follow his thought of developing Punjab to serve the people with a new spirit, determination and sincerity.
