LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ataullah Tarar said on Friday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf tried to derail democracy by making elections disputed.

Tarar said the PTI spent Rs100 billion on 'digital terrorism' for this purpose.

Addressing a press conference along with Tarar, PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said the PTI leaders were going to misguide the international media by telling lies after some time.

She said the PTI concocted a false narrative. "They tried to harm us at the maximum, and proofs of that are available with us," she claimed.

She said her party had submitted attested material in the Election Commission office.

Tarar told media that hundreds of bogus form 45 were uploaded on social media by the PTI. "A presiding officer goes to the office of returning officer in security given to him and submits form 45," said Tarar.

He added that the PTI prepared forms 45 in haste. He said only 5-10 percent initial results were uploaded on social media.

The PML-N leader said the PTI was celebrating its victory in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and crying foul over rigging in Punjab elections. If elections were rigged, how could Rana Sanaullah and Saad Rafique lose elections?, he posed a question.

Tarar said he was not contesting elections for the first time. He said his polling agents remained present at polling stations from dawn till night.

Tarar said the PTI men were busy in preparing bogus and false form 45 because they had lost elections. They started celebrating their victory over bogus form 45. If PML-N had to rig the elections, I would be done in all constituencies.

Marriyum said there should be forensic test of the bogus and genuine forms 45. She said PTI people were in habit of committing organized crime. They then build narratives over the committed crime.

She said PTI had nothing to show as proof in their favour. If they had any proof to support their narrative, they would not be addressing a press conference in Islamabad's Marriot Hotel.

She said she knew the PTI's alliance with JUI-F had short life. Marriyum said Maulana's party was submitting their objections in the ECP commission.
