Child’s murder in Karachi poses challenge to police
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have registered a case against suspects a day after the dead body of a seven-year-old child was found in Federal B area.
Complainant Mazhar Awais, father of Aban, told the Yousaf Plaza police that he had been residing in Federal B area’s Block 16 for the last three months. He said he received a phone call from his wife the other day that their son Aban went out of home but did not return.
He said he, along with relatives, frantically searched the child and found him injured. He said the family shifted the child to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
He demanded that police arrest the perpetrators and give them exemplary punishment.
Police launched investigation and began hunt for the suspects through CCTV cameras.
