Shehbaz urges public to vote for development, bright future
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Former prime minister and President of the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif exercised his right to vote today in the National Assembly constituency NA-128.
He cast his vote at polling station no. 82 in NA-128 .
Addressing media, Shehbaz Sharif advised the public to vote with the vision of fostering development and securing a bright future for Pakistan. He assured voters of comprehensive security measures in place to ensure their safety throughout the electoral process.
Sharif expressed optimism about changing the fate of people, especially if PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif would emerge victorious and return to power.
He underscored the potential transformative impact of the PML-N leadership, particularly citing the Transparency International rating during their previous government.
Younger Sharif fervently prayed for a government that would address pressing issues such as inflation, poverty, unemployment, and societal division while actively promoting harmony and tolerance among the populace.
Marriyum Aurangzeb, also cast his vote in National Assembly constituency NA-51 (Murree). Khawaja Asif polled his at Sialkot's FG Boys School (Cantt) in NA-71 constituency. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Amer Dogar cast his vote in NA0149 (Multan).
Pakistan Peoples Party leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari cast her vote in Nawabshah. Murad Ali Shah cast his vote at a polling station of Sehwan.
Senior Deputy Convenor Muttahida Qaumi Movement Farooq Sattar exercised his right to vote in Karachi's NA-241 constituency (PIB Colony). Maulana Fazlur Rehman cast his vote in Dera Ismail Khan's constituency NA-44.
