Replaced banners and posters show different electoral symbols
HARIPUR (Dunya News) – With just one day to go in general elections, unidentified people in NA-18 and PK-45 (Haripur) replaced the banners of Omer Ayub Khan and Akbar Ayub Khan with those showing different electoral symbols.
The banners and posters displayed at prominent places show Omer Ayub's election symbol as table instead of laptop. Similarly, they also show Akbar Ayub's election symbol as thermos instead of dove.
Both the candidates vying for elections as independent candidates are backed by the PTI.
On getting information, supporters of both candidates took down the banners and posters displayed to misguide the people.
Both the candidates expressed their reservations over the act of changing the electoral symbols by their opponents. The supporters of both candidates are also trying to find out the perpetrators.
