Nawaz mentions the 55-year long relationship with Khawaja Asif
SIALKOT (Web Desk) – Three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday promised skill development and provision of loans for the youth, wondering who says the youngsters do not support the PML-N.
Addressing a rally in Sialkot, Nawaz said the removal of his governments had pushed the country back and mentioned the unprecedented inflation rate, which have crushed the low-income groups.
Question those who destroyed the country through their decisions and actions, he said, adding that the excesses committed against the masses could not be forgotten.
He described Khawaja Asif as the most faithful friend, saying the relationship goes back to 55 years, as he also mentioned other close associates – including Rana Shamim, late Zahray Shah, Manshaullah Butt and Armaghan Subhani – with whom the friendship started before 1985.
Nawaz said the PML-N would reconstruct the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway because it wasn’t constructed according the desired standards and connect the two cities through a railway line.

In her address, Maryam Nawaz said the Sharif family was thankful to Sialkot – at the leaders and people levels – for their steadfastness and loyalty.
She asked the young men and women to use their ballot sensibly, saying the person giving petrol bombs could not be sincere to them.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said the massive crowd was a proof that the sunrise on Feb 8 would belong to the PML-N, propelling Nawaz to the prime minister office for fourth term.
“Some political rivals are saying that the PML-N and Nawaz are not holding rallies. Is this mammoth rally being held in a room?” he remarked and promised that the opponents would be swept away on Feb 8.
“People would show a yellow [red] card to the rival and remove him from the ground on Feb 8,” he said about PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari without naming him.
Shehbaz listed the past achievements of Nawaz during the three shortened terms, including the offers made to him by the then US president Bill Clinton to stop him from going for nuclear tests.
The youth were looking towards Nawaz so that he would generate employment opportunities for them, he said, as he cited the plans about provision of laptops and human resource development besides promising a state-of-the-art IT university for Sialkot.
He saluted Khawaja Asif for standing Nawaz through thick and thin, and asked the people to stamp the tiger on Feb 8 so that the journey towards progress and prosperity could start again.

The bond with Nawaz had also served him and his family during good and bad times, said Khawaja Asif, adding that the people had got him elected as MNA six times from Sialkot which remain faithful to Nawaz forever.
