Former SHO among seven indicted in Naqeebullah murder case
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Naqeebullah murder case has taken a pivotal turn as the court formally charged seven people, including former SHO Amanullah Marwat.
A Karachi anti-terrorism court indicted the accused on Tuesday.
The court proceedings unfolded with accused, including Amanullah Marwat, Gada Hussain, Sadaqat Hussain, Riaz Ahmed, Raja Shamim, and Mohsin Abbas who were produced before the court.
Former police officer Shoaib Shooter, the principal accused appeared before the court as he was on a bail.
However, the court directed the police to present the accused in the upcoming hearing.
Meanwhile, the court summoned the investigating officer and witnesses for the next hearing.
It should be mentioned that Naqeebullah was murdered in a police encounter in 2018.
