Shah Mehmood Qureshi detained for 15 days under MPO3
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader and ex-foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was detained for 15 days following orders issued by the Deputy Commissioner.
The decision, emanating from Qureshi's alleged involvement in the GHQ gate attack on May 9, aims to prevent potential disruptions to peace and order.

The detention, based on the SHO's report and endorsed by the District Intelligence Committee, allows Qureshi a right to appeal for 15 days.
Acting on the recommendation of CPO Rawalpindi, the Deputy Commissioner issued orders under the MPO 3 against Qureshi, highlighting the need for investigation in connection with the May 9 cases.
