IHC declares lower courts decision to reject PTI chief's bail pleas in 9 cases void

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court on Monday declared void the decision of session’s court to reject the bail application of PTI chairman in nine cases.
A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Aamir Farooq ordered the courts concerned to hear the case again.
The IHC announced its decision which was reserved earlier.
It may be recalled that PTI chief’s bail pleas in six cases were pending before session’s courts and three before anti-terrorism case.
The court ordered that the bail applications be treated as pending.
The PTI chairman had on August 26 challenged in the IHC the decision to reject his bail pleas in nine cases, including cases related to May 9 violence, judicial complex attack and forgery cases.
