President conveys condolences to families of martyred security personnel

ISLAMABAD (APP) - President Dr Arif Alvi has contacted the bereaved families of Shaheed security personnel to pay tribute to their sacrifices and to express his condolences.

In separate telephonic conversations, the president contacted families of shaheed Subedar Qaiser Raheem who embraced martyrdom during a terrorists’ attack on Wali Tangi post, Balochistan on September 14.

He spoke with family members of shaheed Lance Naik Abdur Rehman who lost his life in Warsak road blast, Peshawar on September 11, to express his grief, President Secretariat Press Wing said in a press release on Saturday.

The president also conveyed his condolence to the bereaved family of Lance Naik Jamshaid Khan who laid down his life during a terrorist attack in Mir Ali, North Waziristan on September 10.

He expressed his sympathies with the families of Shuhada and paid tribute to their sacrifices on part of the nation.

During these conversations, the president prayed for the high ranks of Shuhada and for grant of fortitude to their family members.
