PM Kakar seeks provision of resources to protect world from epidemics
NEW YORK (Dunya News) – Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar said on Wednesday developing countries must have to be provided with funds to protect world from the negative effects of global epidemics.
The caretaker prime minister while addressing the summit on the topic of prevention, preparedness and response to pandemics said millions of people faced lockdown due to a small virus.
However, the world was fortunate that scientists were able to develop a corona vaccine, he said.
Kakar said unfair behavior was seen in the distribution of vaccines at the global level as it was important to make the availability of vaccines possible for everyone to prevent epidemics.
In order to avoid the problems faced by the world in preventing the corona virus actions are needed and in this regard global delivery system was required to be improved.

"Pakistan is among the most affected countries in global warming. Unfair treatment should not be extended to the poor nations in the name of intellectual rights. Everyone should play once due role against global warming," he said.
