Police register Peshawar IED blast case

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The case of an improvised explosive device (IED) blast near Prime Hospital Complex on Warsak Road in Peshawar has been registered at the Machni Police Station, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The case has been filed on behalf of station house officer (SHO) Machni Police Station. According to details, the case was registered under sections of Anti-terrorism Act relating to explosives and attempt to murder and other clauses against unidentified terrorists.
It is worth mentioning here that one Frontier Constabulary (FC) official was martyred while 10 others, including two civilians, suffered injuries in a blast near Prime Hospital Complex on Warsak Road on Monday morning.
Warsak Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Arshad Khan confirmed that terrorists targeted a vehicle of Mohmand Rifles Regiment on Warsak Road. The vehicle was on its way to Peshawar from Machni when it was targeted.
