Court hands over Elahi to NAB on physical remand till Aug 21

The court granted physical remand of Elahi till Aug 21
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Accountability Court of Lahore has handed over former Punjab chief minister and PTI president Parvez Elahi in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on physical remand till Aug 21.
The NAB Lahore team produced Elahi in the accountability court in the case of alleged financial irregularities and sought his physical remand.
Accepting the request, the court granted physical remand of Elahi till Aug 21.
Elahi was released on completion of the detention period on Monday (Aug 14). However, shortly after his release, the NAB team again arrested him and transferred him to Lahore after the transit remand.
