Govt, opposition camp in Islamabad for deliberations on caretaker Balochistan CM
QUETTA (Dunya News) – The government and opposition members have camped in Islamabad over the appointment of caretaker chief minister of Balochistan.
According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) sources, opposition leader Advocate Malik Sikander, Provincial Amir of JUI Maulana Wasay arrived in Islamabad while former members of assembly Younis Aziz Zahri, Haji Nawaz Kakar were also with them.
All the leaders reached Islamabad on Fazlur Rahman's request.
Opposition leader Malik Sikander advocate and others were all set to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman and consult the appointment of caretaker chief minister.
Efforts are being made by JUI-F to nominate Mir Usman Badaini for caretaker chief minister of Balochistan.
The opposition party, Balochistan National Party – Mengal (BNP-M) has named Mir Hamal Kalmati as caretaker chief minister, Mir Naseer Bizenjo, Mir Shabir Mengal and various names are the potential candidates for slot of the caretaker chief minister.
A meeting between the Chief Minister of Balochistan and the opposition leader is also being expected.
