Says the rulers are going to increase electricity unit price by Rs6
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and former federal interior minister Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday hoped that the judiciary would take all important decisions till September.
Taking to Twitter, he said today (Wednesday) was the last day of the government but the rulers were going to increase the unit price by Rs6, putting a financial burden of Rs721 billion on electricity consumers.

Rashid said the name of the caretaker prime minister was still hanging in the air and it would land in a day or two. "The rulers are not in a position to face the masses that’s why they are employing delaying tactics in the name of census."
"We are waiting for the Election Commission's decision after the new census," the seasoned politician added.
The ex-minister said the constitutional issues would benefit those who wanted to delay the elections. Keep in mind that the Senate elections are also to be held in March and all political decisions are in courts and revolving around them.
He said that people were finding it difficult to make both ends meet that’s why they had no interest in politics. Economic destruction, political chaos, constitutional destruction and mockery of law had become the destiny of Pakistan's politics.
Bilawal is seeking an easy way through ‘charter of democracy’ which can provide him and Maryam Nawaz 30 years, he claimed.
Rashid said why the rulers were escaping elections if they had they made considerable progress in one-and-a-half years. "Why are they not going to the public," Rashid asked.
He said those talking about the protection of constitution now want to extend elections duration beyond 90 days. "We had approached the International Monetary Fund (IMF) 24- 25 times as our affairs are not in order," he added.
He said the stock exchange shed by 1,000 points in a day and dollar price rose to Rs302. "One million people are leaving Pakistan and the condition and political issues of Pakistan are going from bad to worse."
