JUI-F has no enmity towards any group or outfit: Fazlur Rehman
BAJAUR (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday expressed his determination to continue struggle for peaceful politics.
Expressing his views on the attack on the JUI-F workers' convention in Bajaur, Rehman made it clear that his party had no enmity with any group or outfit.
He emphasised the need for maintaining peace, saying, "We have to make a strategy now, for which we called a meeting of the notables tomorrow (Friday)".
"We have raised our voice on every platform against the killings of the Bajaur scholars," he added.
On Tuesday, Rehman said that those involved in the Bajaur blast should be ashamed of their action.
Speaking to media, Rehman lamented: "The attack on the JUIF workers' convention is condemnable. It is the darkest chapter in the country's history".
He said: "The time of trial comes on nations. Despite the Bajaur blast, the morale of the JUI-F workers did not drop".
The PDM chief said, "Even the United Nations (UN) has condemned the Bajaur blast. Those involved in the blast have accepted the responsibility."
