PML-Q committee to undertake discussions with PML-N, PPP
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) supremo Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Wednesday constituted a committee to negotiate with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) over the interim prime minister.
Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Chaudhry Sarwar, and Chaudhry Shafay Hussain are among Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) top brass who were included in the committee.
The committee was also expected to take up the seat adjustment issue with PML-N and PPP.
Last week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formed a five-member committee for the purpose of holding consultations on the caretaker setup.
Sources divulged that Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, and Ishaq Dar are among Pakistan Muslim League-(PML-N) top brass who were included in the five-member committee.
