Five electrocuted as rain lashes Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lashing rain on Wednesday proved fatal for five people, including two children, while many others suffered injuries.
Two children including Zubair (8) and Faizan (12) suffered severe electric shock when current passed through water from a electric pole in Dhobi Mohallah, Charrar Village, Rescue 1122 officials said, adding that the children fell unconscious and later passed away.
In another incident, 32-year-old Salman died after he touched a switch-board in Defence.
In another incident, Ijaz (28) electrocuted in Harbanspura, while another man identified as Jawad passed away after he touched a live wire in Qalandarpura.
