JI, PTI members stage protest during Karachi City Council meeting

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Members of the JI and the PTI staged protest and also came to face to face against each other during the meeting of Karachi City Council on Monday.
The meeting presided over by PPP Mayor Murtaza Wahab witnessed slogans of "mandate thief". The meeting passed a resolution to condemn the desecration of Holy Quran.
The Mayor went on to say that mere slogans would not serve any cause or resolve the problems the city is facing.
Meanwhile, the members of both the JI and the PTI dragged each other during the meeting.
