A speeding passenger bus collided with a truck on Nankana Sahab Motorway M3
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Three people including a couple lost their lives while 11 others got injured in two separate traffic accidents in Punjab on Monday.
According to rescue officials, a passenger bus collided with a truck due to over-speeding on Nankana Sahab Motorway M 3 near Colony canal, leaving one passenger dead and 11 others injured.
Rescue officials gave first aid to six people while remaining were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) by the Motorway Police.
In another tragic accident, a couple died when the motorcycle they were riding was struck by a rashly driven tractor-trolley in Dipalpur.
The accident took place on Pakpattan Road near Adda Dilawar Kot where a speeding tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle, killing Afzal and his wife Mumtaz Bibi on the spot.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Dipalpur.
According to the police, the tractor-trolley driver managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
