ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday felicitated the presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan on the joyous occasion as Eidul-Azha was being celebrated with verve.
- PM Shehbaz sends best wishes to Iran -
PM Shehbaz sent his best wishes to the Iranian government and people during a phone call with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. President Raisi also expressed his felicitations to the Pakistani people and government on the auspicious occasion.
Both leaders indicated a desire to strengthen ties between the two close neighbours.
Raisi thanked PM Shehbaz for felicitating Iran on Eid.

In a telephonic conversation with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, PM Shehbaz expressed his best wishes for the Azeri government and people.
The premier had previously stated his intention to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
President Aliyev also thanked PM Shehbaz for felicitating Azerbaijan on the occasion.

On Wednesday, PM Shehbaz and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani exchanged pleasantries over the phone. Both leaders extended their sincere felicitations and well wishes on the auspicious occasion.
Pakistan and Qatar have a strong bond based on a same religion, goals, and ideals. Both nations maintain a relationship that includes collaboration in the fields of trade, energy, food security, labour, and IT.
