Three killed, 28 injured in road accidents in Karak, Khairpur, Lahore

KARAK/KHAIRPUR/LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three persons were killed and 28 other sustained injuries in road accidents in Karak, Khairpur and Lahore on Tuesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the first accident occurred in Karak where two persons lost their lives when a trailer overturned due to brake failure in Rangeen Chowk at the Indus Highway, killing its driver and cleaner.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to a nearby hospital.
The second accident took place in Khairpur near Toll Plaza where a bus turned turtle due to over-speeding, killing a minor boy on the spot and injuring 22 others including women and children.
As per details, the ill-fated bus was on its way to Karachi from Lahore. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to a hospital in Gumbat.
The third accident occurred in Lahore at the Canal Road near Khokhar Chowk where six people sustained injuries in collision between a car and motorcycle rickshaw.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospital. According to rescue sources, one of the injured is in critical condition.
