LAHORE (Dunya News): The Lahore Police rearrested over two dozen Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers who called on the party chairman after being released from jail.
All the 27 activists have been shifted to an undisclosed location.
PTI workers met with the party chief at Zaman Park after their release from different jails. Most of the party workers who were rearrested hail from Kasur, Lahore, Gujranwala and Sargodha districts.
The workers were taken into custody when they were on their way back to home after visiting Zaman Park.
Police sources told Dunya News that the arrested workers are not nominated in any case.
It’s worth mentioning that the Lahore High Court (LHC) had earlier declared null and void the house-arrests of all PTI workers, directing the concerned authorities to release them.
