Three important meetings are taking place when the SC is hearing the ECP's plea about Punjab polls
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The joint session of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) and the National Assembly will be held today (Monday) as the Supreme Court of Pakistan is hearing the Election Commisison of Pakistan (ECP)'s review plea regarding Punjab elections, Dunya News reported.
The NA will meet a 10am at the Parliament House with 14-point agenda. The joint session of the parliament will be held at 4pm with 19-point agenda.
Matters of national and international importance will be discussed during the sessions. The National Accountability (Amendment) Bill, 2023 will also be presented in the joint session of the parliament.
Sources said the cabinet is also likely to meet under the chair of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Parliament to discuss ongoing political and judicial crisis.
They said the PDM parties are also assembling in the federal capital on the call of Maulana Fazlur Rehman for a sit-in outside the Supreme Court.
