JHELUM (Web Desk) – In a unique wedding ceremony, a groom landed at the banquet hall in a helicopter to take his bride home in Jhelum’s Sohawa tehsil.
A media outlet reported that the relatives of the groom, who lives in the UK and is in town for his nuptials, also showered dollars and pounds on guests from the helicopter and the groom was offered a garland laced with obscene money.
A staggering amount was spent on the lavish event in a relatively backward part of Punjab, where the locals expressed their surprise and delight over the spectacle.
The couple returned home by the helicopter but before that, it flew over the city for quite some time.
