Moazzam Jah Ansari appointed as new FC Commandant
Pakistan
Ansari previously served as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government on Wednesday removed Frontier Constabulary (FC) Commandant Salahuddin from his post and directed him to report to the establishment division.
Sources suggest that police service grade 22 officer Mr Salahuddin has been replaced by Moazzam Jah Ansari as the new commandant FC. Mr Ansari was previously posted as OSD in the Establishment Division.
Notably, Moazzam Jah Ansari was serving as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police (IGP), but he was removed from the post due to the government's dissatisfaction with his performance. Grade 21 officer Akhtar Hayat Gandapur has been appointed as the new IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in place of Ansari.
