Interim CM Naqvi stresses need to improve educational facilities in govt schools

LAHORE - Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday directed the authorities to improve facilities in government schools during his visit to the Government Central Model School, Rettigan Road and Lower Mall. 

The caretaker chief minister reviewed the educational facilities and inquired about the activities of the children from the teachers. He also asked about the provision of free books in schools. Students at the school answered his questions and shared their educational experiences.

Speaking to the media, CM Naqvi said the Central Model School had a unique history in the education field and had made a big name in the past. He expressed his commitment to bring back the school's glory within a short span of time.

The caretaker chief minister emphasised that changes to the curriculum were necessary to improve the educational quality of the school, and the curriculum should be in accordance with modern requirements.

He instructed the board of governors of the school to meet and take immediate steps in this regard. 

Furthermore, Mr Naqvi stressed the need to improve educational facilities for students in government schools and announced that more funds would be provided to improve the facilities.
