Mr Qaiser would convey the message of PTI Chairman Imran Khan to Maulana Sherani
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) initiated a series of contacts with various political parties to discuss the current political and constitutional situation in the country.
On Tuesday, as part of this effort, PTI leader Asad Qaiser was scheduled to meet with Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan chief Maulana Muhammad Sherani.
According to a statement issued by the PTI, Mr Qaiser would convey the message of PTI Chairman Imran Khan to Maulana Sherani during their meeting.
Discussions would also be held on matters of mutual interest and the current political situation in the country.
This decision comes after a PTI delegation, comprising Asad Umar and Senator Ejaz Chaudhary, visited the Jamaat-e-Islami center Mansurah two days ago.
During the meeting, they held discussions with Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Sirajul Haq on the country's political situation and matters of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed to maintain the continuity of relations between PTI and JI in the future.
