LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel have arrested at least eight alleged terrorists during multiple combing operations across Punjab, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to CTD spokesperson, the law enforcement agency conducted 48 combing operations in different cities of Punjab, including Lahore, and interrogated 478 persons.
The spokesperson informed that eight alleged terrorists were taken into custody during combing operations. He informed that two terrorists were arrested from Model Town area and one from Data Darbar area of Lahore. Two other terrorists were arrested from Rawalpindi and one each from Khushab, Muridke and Mandi Bahauddin.
The spokesperson said that CTD personnel also recovered arms from the arrested terrorists and shifted them to police stations for further investigation.
