Highlighting the result of local elections, the PML-N’s stalwart said the people of Karachi had rejected the divisive politics of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) because Imran Khan did not provide relief the relief to Karachi during his tenure.
He said all parties now needed to save the state instead of their own politics and the party that claimed of having 14 seats in Karachi was whitewashed in the polls.
Mentioning the PML-N’s supremo, he added Nawaz Sharif was their leader and now the people had understood the conspiracy to oust his government in 2017 and that was an effort to downgrade Pakistan. “Nawaz Sharif was convicted in a fabricated case and he would return to the country to lead the PML-N’s campaign,” Mr Iqbal said
