Imran always tells me to hold nerves: CM Elahi
GUJRAT (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi said on Friday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan always advised him to hold nerves.
Speaking at a university’s convocation, he said if the rulers were not honest, the country suffered. “The PTI did its best in the health sector as health card is a great initiative,” he added. The Punjab government, he said, would increase the number of beds from 200 to 400 in the Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology, carry out development projects worth Rs9 billion in Mandi Bahauddin and construct a dental college in Gujrat.
“The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) representatives launder all the money and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar brings back that money,” he mocked. He said the PML-N ridiculed him on how he would manage the finances of the province. “The inflation storm brought by the incumbent government is not settling,” he added.
