Summary Ruling PDM gets itself in trouble due to court demanding Toshakhana details, says Omer Sarfraz
LAHORE ( Dunya News ) – Provincial interior and information adviser Omer Sarfraz Cheema said on Tuesday Shehbaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari ended up in hot waters when the court demanded complete details of the Toshakhana gifts.
Mr Cheema said why there was absolute silence over the Toshakhana, especially when the incumbent government used to do politics over that issue. He said a PML-N MNA backtracked when court asked for the complete information related to the gifts. "Those who are putting the blame on others are themselves involved in the illegal purchase of cars and gifts from Toshakhana,” he alleged.
He claimed that it had been proven through record that the ruling coalition was involved in the theft and plunder of Toshakhana while saying Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had purchased the watch through completely legal means.
