Elections to be held on time: Musadik Malik
Pakistan
Musadik Malik said the PTI-led government had left the country in "economic crises".
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik said the elections would be held on time. He was of the view that announcing the date of elections was the prerogative of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Musadik Malik said the former rulers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had left the country in "economic crises" whereas the incumbent government (PDM) was making efforts to stabilize the economy.
He alleged that PTI chief Imran Khan took "kickbacks" worth billions of rupees. He further said that people faced an acute shortage of gas last year and the incumbent government managed to overcome this challenge to some extent this year.
