Malala last visited Pakistan two months ago when she toured the flood-affected areas of the country.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, along with members of her family, arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday. 

She is visiting her native country to help Pakistani girls get access to STEAM education and a fellowship programme for teachers. During her stay in Pakistan, Malala and her father would also meet Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi with a focus on education and the work of the Malala Fund in Pakistan. She will also attend the Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP) and the Malala Fund team events for awareness of the academic programme within Pakistan having a focus on science education for young girls.

Malala will also interact with stakeholders in education, government, development community, digital cultural creators, students and youth, reports say. She last visited Pakistan two months ago when she toured the flood-affected areas of the country. 

The Malala Fund said in a statement her visit was aimed “to help focus international attention on the impact of the floods in Pakistan and reinforce the need for critical humanitarian assistance.”
