Naseem Shah leads the list of most searched people in Pakistan on Google in 2022
(Web Desk) - Google has released the list of the most search personalities in Pakistan on Google in outgoing year 2022.
Pakistan’s young cricket sensation Naseem Shah has took the top spot on the list of the most googled persons. At just 16, the right-armed bowler has generated massive hype across Pakistan with his pace levels, ability to swing the ball.
This year, he made the headlines for his heroic sixes against Afghanistan and thrilling bowling against Indian in the Asia Cup 2022.
He is followed by former president Retired Gen Pervez Musharraf, who has been living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since long.
Controversial British writer of Indian origin Salman Rushdie is at the third place. He hit the searches this year after he got injured in a stabbing incident in New York.
Pakistani cricketer Ifikhar Ahmad, who eared praise on the back of his performance in a T20 series against Australia this year, is at the fourth place, followed by star batter-wicketkeeped Mohammad Rizwan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is the sixth moth googled person in Pakistan in 2022 while he is followed by Shahdab Khan, Amber Heard, cricketer Azhar Ali and journalist Imran Riaz Khan.
