President summons joint sitting of parliament

President Dr Arif Alvi will address the joint session of both the houses of the parliament.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Dr Arif Alvi has summoned the joint session to the parliament to be held 5:00 PM today (Thursday) at the Parliament House, Dunya News reported.
As per the statement issued by President House, President Dr Arif Alvi has called the joint session to the parliament under Articles 54-1 and 56-3 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
According to details, President Dr Arif Alvi will address the joint session of both the houses of the parliament – the Senate and the National Assembly. Meanwhile, PTI has decided to boycott the joint session to the parliament.
