Rana unveils govt's plan to deal with PTI protesters.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Thursday said that the modern methods of firing tear gas shells and rubber bullets on the protesters will be adopted in the case of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest.
Addressing the media, Rana Sanaullah said that it is impossible to negotiate with a person like PTI Chairman Imran Khan. He said, “Imran has to prepare now as we are fully prepared”. Rana said the red zone has been sealed as a precaution, adding that the red zone is being opened today. He further said that the area will be closed when he [Imran Khan] shows his intention to enter the red zone.
The federal minister further said that the use of drone shelling will also be considered. The government has requested police force from other provinces, in case of refusal, action will be taken against the provinces under the constitution, added Rana.
