Two injured as miscreants open fire at CTD van in Quetta

Police have launched search operation to arrest the culprits behind the incident.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Some unidentified miscreants opened fire at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) van in Quetta on Monday night due to which two CTD personnel were wounded, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the CTD van came under miscreants attack in Qali Sardar area of Akhtarabad near Western By-pass in Quetta due to which two officials, identified as Assad Ullah and Muhammad Qasim, were wounded.
The injured CTD officials were shifted to hospital for treatment. The hospital sources informed that both the injured are in stable condition. A heavy contingent of police reached the spot after the incident and cordoned off the area and also launched search operation to arrest the culprits behind the incident.
