Islamabad: PTI protesters set Metro Station on fire
Dozens of trees on the green belt near the Metro Station were also set on fire.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters set ablaze Metro Station at the China Chowk on Wednesday night as police clash with PTI workers in various areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, dozens of trees on the green belt near the Metro Station were also set on fire by the angry mob.
Thousands of PTI workers and supporters reached Islamabad’s D-Chowk, pushing aside containers and braved tear gas shelling and now waiting for their leader Imran Khan whose caravan has entered Islamabad.
The PMLN-led federal and Punjab governments have closed several roads leading to Islamabad from various Punjab cities and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province in an effort to stop PTI activists from marching on Islamabad.
