The bomber wanted to target Chinese nationals: sources
TURBAT (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department has arrested a suspected woman suicide bomber from Hoshab area.
According to sources privy with the development, explosives as well as detonators have been recovered from the suspected bomber.
Sources further revealed that the bomber wanted to target Chinese motorcade travelling along China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The raids are underway to arrest other members of the network involved in such activities.
It is pertinent to mention here that on April 26, four people, including three Chinese nationals were killed in a suicide attack outside the Confucius Institute at Karachi University by a female suicide bomber.
