The speaker reserved the ruling while not allowing resolution on new province in PA session.

Chaudary Zaheer-ud-Din of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), on a point of order, said that the people of southern Punjab are demanding creation of a separate province. He said all the members from the southern Punjab will support this move whether they belong to PML-N or any other party.Meanwhile, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal member Ali Noor Haider Niazi submitted a resolution for the creation of Thal province comprising Mianwali, Khushab, Bhakar and Layyah. The move created rumpus in the assembly and PML-Q and PPP members demanded Ali Noor Haider Niazi’s ouster from the assembly. Fauzia Behram of the PPP reportedly punched Ali Noor Haider Niazi when he used abusive language.PPP and PML-Q members demanded an apology from Ali Noor Haider Niazi, but he categorically refused.The speaker postponed the PA session for an indefinite period due to the pandemonium.
