Landslide kills coal miner in Balochistan

A coal miner was killed when a landslide struck a coal mine in Dukki district in Balochistan.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – A coal miner was killed when a landslide struck a coal mine in Dukki district in Balochistan province on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the coal miner was extracting coal from deep inside the mine when the landslide hit, killing him on the spot. Local miners working in nearby mines and rescue workers retrieved the dead body from the mine and shifted it to district headquarters hospital Dukki.
The dead miner was identified as Abdul Haleem, a resident of Afghanistan. The dead body of the miner was dispatched to Afghanistan after the completion of necessary official procedures.
