Miscreants pelt stones at Green Line Bus in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The first mass transit project of the country’s economic hub came under attack by miscreants as stones were pelted at Green Line.
The incidents of hurling stones at Green Line Bus by unknown miscreants occurred on four different locations between the areas of Numaish and Surjani.
According to sources, the Central District Administration has submitted a petition to the police against the unknown miscreants.
The incident has raised questions about the security of the Green Line project.
The claim of deploying 900 cameras and 250 security personnel in the Green Line project also turned out to be untrue.
The sources further revealed that hurling of stones have shattered the side glass and other windows of the bus. The buses were damaged due to stone pelting from pedestrian bridge but passengers remained safe in these incidents.
