The youngster touched the live electricity wire while catching a stray kite and died on the spot.

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - The bloody game of kite flying continues in several cities of Punjab despite a ban as a youngster was electrocuted to death while catching stray kite in Faisalabad, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

The tragic incident occurred near Thatta Pull area at the Canal Road where an 18-year-old boy touched the live electricity wire while catching a stray kite and died on the spot.

The residents of the area are of the view that police have failed to control kite flying in the city, which is causing loss of life. They also demanded immediate action from higher authorities in this regard.
