Sindh bans pillion riding in major cities of province
Pillion riding has been banned in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Khairpur and Larkana.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Government of Sindh has imposed a ban on pillion riding in all major cities of the province for one day, i.e., today (Friday), Dunya News reported.
According to the notification issued in this regard, the Sindh Government in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 (6) Cr.P.C. has imposed ban on pillion riding in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Khairpur and Larkana.
Notification further states that the ban does not apply to women, children below the age of 12 years and senior citizens. The ban has been imposed to maintain law and order situation.
