NAB prepares reference against Khawaja Asif in assets beyond means case
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has prepared a reference against senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal defense minister Khawaja Asif.
According to sources, reference prepared in assets beyond means case against Khawaja Asif has been sent to Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal for approval.
In the reference, the league leader has been named as the main accused of having assets in excess of his income. After the approval of Chairman NAB, the reference will be filed in the accountability court.
Khawaja Asif will be summoned to the accountability court after filing of the reference.
