President emphasizes need to promote online education system to slash educational expenditure
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has emphasised the need to promote online education system to slash educational expenditure.
Addressing the Best University Teacher Award ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the government is providing merit scholarships to students of higher education and cholarships are also being given under Ehsas Program.
The President also stressed the need to enhance standard and quality of virtual education to match it with the demand and needs of the market.
He also urged teachers to improve content of the teaching material as well as the teaching method to impart education in a better way.
Dr Arif Alvi said IT sector has immense potential for job opportunities.
