Massive reshuffle in Punjab bureaucracy
Punjab government has appointed Muhammad Umar Sher as deputy commissioner Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - In a major reshuffle in Punjab bureaucracy, the Punjab government has appointed Muhammad Umar Sher as deputy commissioner Lahore in place of Mudassar Riaz, who has been made OSD (Officer on Special Duty), Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to sources, Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi to replace Amir Attique who has been made OSD.
Secretary Primary Health Sara Aslam has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan while Secretary Labor Ahmed Javed Qazi has been transferred and posted as Secretary Specialized Health.
Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari has been posted as Secretary Higher Education, Danish Afzal has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala and Imran Sikandar Baloch has been posted as Secretary Primary Health.
Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Irshad Ahmed has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner Multan in place of Javed Akhtar who has been made OSD.
Sources said that Mujahid Sher Dal has been posted as Secretary P&D, Mohammad Masood Mukhtar has been appointed as Secretary Population Welfare, Shoaib Khan Jadoon has been given additional charge of Food Secretary Punjab.
Additional Secretary Local Government Wajid Ali Shah has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal in place of Babar Bashir who has been made OSD.
Ali Shehzad has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, Amir Karim, Additional Secretary CM Office, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Multan while Khurram Shehzad has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Mianwali.
