Welfare of overseas Pakistanis govt's top priority: FM Qureshi
The FM said there are ample opportunities of mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Australia
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan s High Commissioners-designate to Australia and Canada separately called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Talking to High Commissioner-designate to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, the foreign minister said there are ample opportunities of mutual cooperation, including enhancing trade between Pakistan and Australia.
In another meeting with High Commissioner-designate to Canada Ameer Khurram Rathore, he said welfare of overseas Pakistanis and resolving their problems are amongst the top priorities of PTI government. He expressed the belief that the new Pakistani High Commissioner will utilize his best efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
Pakistan Ambassador-designate to Switzerland, Amir Shaukat also called on the Foreign Minister and exchanged views on challenges being confronted by Pakistan on foreign front.
